Research
When I'm not seeing clients, I'm working on research projects focusing on cognitive psychology, judgement and decision-making, education, and career development—with practical implications for improving how we prepare young people for their biggest decisions.
For my PhD, I investigated how cognitive biases influence adolescent career decisions and whether we can teach students to think more rationally about their futures. My work challenges the "follow your passion" approach in traditional career education, which may inadvertently reinforce biased thinking. I have conducted various research projects using systematic reviews, mixed-methods research, and a cluster-randomised trial.
